Last updated: 2026-04-09
Overview
These terms apply to products and services provided by Bright Raven World, operated by Chieh Wei Huang. By using our products, you agree to these terms.
Products
Bright Raven World offers digital products (desktop applications and tools). Products may be free, pay-what-you-want, or fixed price, as stated on each product's page.
License
Maida is open source software released under the MIT license. The source code is available at github.com/devBrightRaven/maida. You may use, modify, and redistribute it under the terms of that license.
Other products may use different licenses, which will be specified on each product's page or repository.
Purchases and payments
Payments are processed through third-party platforms (itch.io, Ko-fi, or Stripe). Bright Raven World does not directly handle or store payment card details.
For purchases made through our own payment processing (Stripe), the terms in the Commercial Transaction Act disclosure apply, including pricing, payment timing, and delivery.
Refunds
Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are generally not available after purchase. If a product has a critical defect that prevents it from functioning as described, contact bertram@brightraven.world and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
For purchases made through itch.io or Ko-fi, their respective refund policies apply.
Disclaimer
Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Bright Raven World is not responsible for any data loss, damage, or issues arising from the use of its products. Maida reads your local Steam installation files in read-only mode and does not modify them.
Privacy
Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect and how we handle it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance.
